Visakha of Cambodian and Young Elephants of Laos are likely to go into group stage of AFC Cup after Myanmar withdrawal.
This afternoon, The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has taken note of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF)’s confirmation of the withdrawals of Shan United FC and Hantharwady United FC from the 2022 editions of the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup respectively.
So, the match between Visakha of Cambodian and Young Elephants can be cancelled with moving them into group stage instead. But everything will be informed later by AFC.
By official draw on January 18, 2021 Cambodian League winners, Phnom Penh Crown are located in Group I with Hougang United of Singapore, and Viettel FC of Vietnam after Hantharwady United omission from the tournament.
