Kenny Athiu becomes tallest player in Cambodian Premier League

After signing with Visakha yesterday, Kenny Athiu become the tallest player with 2.01 centimeters in Cambodian Premier League to complete foreigner quota (5) . 


Kenny Athiu is the last foreign signing for 2022 season after they brought striker Junior Barros from Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and  winger Marcos Vinícius from Santa Cruz (Brazil). 

The South Sudan international has got much experience through his career since 2010 at home town. He started his football with South Sudan's club South Springvale in 2010 and then joined semi-professional team Springvale White Eagles outside the country and  Box Hill United respectively. His performance was attracted by Box Hill United, northern Melborne suburb of Heidelberg west and finally played two years over there. 







His high profile​ of the 29-year-old hitman was with Melbourne Victory from 2018 to 2020 where he appeared 11 times in AFC Champions League. In 2021, he served for Sri Pahang of Malaysia. 

With that new face, Visakha consist of good choices in attacking especially AFC Cup playoff fixture.
